The Guaymis Indian Reservations - Pavones EcoBeach Resort

There is a significant Indian presence in this Southern Pacific Area. There are six indigenous territories where the following groups reside: Borucas, Terrabas, Cabecares, Bribris and Guaymis.

There is still much to be investigated and discovered about the archeological patrimony left in the area. Petroglyphics and stone spheres are also abundant.
Guaymis Indians live in the mountains just behind PAVONES ECO BEACH RESORT.
A horse or a 4X4 vehicle (depending on the season and the weather conditions) will take you there. The ride lasts at least 4 hours. You'll then watch the making of hand crafted souvenirs. You'll also be able to buy souvenirs with the assurance that they are 100% natural and authentic.
