Bird Watching - Pavones EcoBeach Resort

In Costa Rica, 25% of the nation's land is dedicated to preservation. This is one of the few countries in the world which has worried about maintaining it’s natural resources and Bio-diversity by creating National Parks and Nature Reserves. Also by enforcing conservation plans to protect it’s flora & fauna. At Pavones Eco Beach Resort, we provide fauna and flora watching tours with guides who have eagle eyes peeled for interesting fauna and flora.

In December, you may see the hatching of sea turtles on Punta Banco, just half an hour south of Pavones Eco Beach Resort.

Birding factoids: 874 species in 64 families - 6 endemics - 64 endemics shared with panama - 11 endangered species.

A large variety of birds (toucans, parrots, humming birds, etc.) as well as monkeys (white faced and other monkeys), iguanas, ... are likely to be seen on each walk out of the resort.
